On the left is a topographical map of the Lake Elsinore area. It shows
the location of the pumps for LEAPS (Lake
Elsinore Advanced Pump Storage) project. The dotted line is the location
of the transmission lines. The
red box is expanded to a satellite map on the right.
The right side of the satellite picture is the Santa Rosa Plateau area. The line with the yellow lettering is the proposed location of the Transmission Lines.
FERC released a new map in October 2006. It offers
some suggested changes to the above map. Below is a portion of that
map. It shows the area along the Santa Rosa Plateau by Calle de Lobo
and Via Serento. The thin blue line is the EVMWD favored route.
